Epic Games has announced Bruno Mars as the new "icon" for Fortnite Festival Season 9, following the conclusion of Season 8. Season 9 will launch on June 19 with a Bruno Mars Music Pass priced at 1,400 V-Bucks (About 15 USD) , featuring Mars-inspired clothing, unique Jam Tracks, and themed rewards.
The pass unlocks the "Die With A Smile" Bruno Outfit based on the song's music video, the Grammy-winning Silk Sonic single "Leave The Door Open," and the Last Reprise Guitar and Red Hearts Kit Drums, inspired by Mars' music videos. The game's music collection will also feature two of his most popular collaborations, "Die With A Smile" with Lady Gaga and "APT."

Season 9 introduces significant quality-of-life improvements to Fortnite Festival, including alphabetical sorting for music libraries, restored all-time leaderboards, and a new True Random music function. Players with favorite tunes can now shuffle through a tailored playlist.
Content creators can monetize videos using Bruno Mars songs during the first seven days of Season 9, as long as their YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts are linked. Eligible tracks include "Die With A Smile," "APT.," and "Bonde Do Brunão."
