However, Saltbae has since weighed in, providing a very different account of events.
"There was no organisation, such as an invitation-only party," he said in a social media post. "We arrived at the hotel via UEFA bus after the game because thousands of fans were waiting outside. I was only there to take photos with them.
He explained that what appeared to be a confrontation was actually a security guard named "Mr. Dormen" directing him to the exit while he waited for his car. "Don't worry about such small things," he said, mocking online speculation. "The rest is artificial intelligence."
