Two men accused of supplying drugs to Liam Payne prior to his death last October will face trial in Argentina

Argentina is set to try two men, Brazilian waiter Brian Nahuel Paiz and former hotel employee Ezequiel David Pereyra, for drug trafficking in connection with former One Direction member Liam Payne's death in October. Paiz and Pereyra have been in custody since January and could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

The autopsy revealed Payne had consumed cocaine in his hotel room just before his death, and the death was caused by polytrauma and internal and external bleeding. Payne had cocaine, alcohol, and other substances in his system at the time of his death. The trial will focus on Paiz and Pereyra's actions, as charges against three other men were dropped earlier this year.
