Born in Sydney, Australia, in 1968, actor Julian McMahon began his career as a model before transitioning to acting. He gained fame in the US with roles in NBC's Another World and Profiler and gained recognition for his roles in Charmed and Nip/Tuck. He is best known for his villainous role as Dr. Doom in Fantastic Four (2005) and its 2007 sequel. He has also starred in CBS' FBI: Most Wanted and Marvel's Runaways. His most recent credits include The Surfer and The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat. His final role was as Australia's prime minister in Netflix's The Residence.
