Rapper DDG has filed an emergency motion in court to prevent actress and singer Halle Bailey from taking their infant son, Halo, outside of the United States.
DDG believes Halle's upcoming international trip to Italy will expose their child, Halo, to significant emotional and psychological risks, as outlined in court documents obtained by TMZ.
In the legal filing, DDG claims Halle Bailey is currently unable to care for their son due to specific mental health issues, as detailed in the court documents. He cited a disturbing incident during her pregnancy in which she allegedly took his firearm without explanation, left the house, and was later found outside with the weapon, raising serious concerns. He also claims she considered ending the pregnancy in secret but ultimately decided not to.
DDG claims he received threats of suicidal and harmful messages from Bailey after their son's birth, and he fears leaving the country would limit the protection of both mother and child in US courts.
Halle Bailey accused DDG of abuse, including slamming her face into a steering wheel, but DDG denied the allegations, providing different events and injury photos he claims were caused by Bailey.
DDG seeks sole custody of Halo due to escalating tensions and requests the court to appoint a third-party supervisor for custody transfers to ensure the safety and well-being of their child. Reports suggest Ring camera footage may be released to the public.
